  Tacos, took a stroll during a Comic Con break, set up like a sports bar.
  
  Ordered fish cod and beef tacos, man, the best tacos I had in a long time, maybe the best ever.

  Micho's was a surprise. We were looking for tacos around where we were staying downtown and found Micho's thanks to its great Yelp reviews. We walked there and were surprised to find it inside of a bar. The bar tender/waitress was so nice, we got drinks and started looking at the menu. We each ended up ordering three tacos with various meats and shared a chips and guacamole.
  
  I had corn tortillas with my tacos and they were clearly handmade. They were thicker than your average tortilla with great flavor and texture. My husband had the flour tortillas and thought they were great. My carnitas tacos that I ordered weren't my favorite. Micho's serves carnitas with a sweet bbq type sauce on the meat which isn't what I'm used to. The meat was flavorful but just wasn't what I was expecting. I also had chicken which was delicious and my husband had carne asada which was also very good.
  
  Overall, we really enjoyed our little visit to Micho's. It's a different, eclectic little place with good tacos and great service.

  They're pretty okay, but not as good as the hype would have you believe.
  
  Their shrimp tacos are a little too cheesy, and only come with 2 shrimp, for example. Unsure why the general impression is so positive.
  
  Service was great. Salsa was mediocre, which is par the course for San Diego. They have good entrees (the nopal, for example), but the majority of people I took for the first time were disappointed.

  Came here for a quick beer and takeout order. Cool joint with lots of character. My food was ok : got the steak burrito and chips . Nothing particularly special or tasty about the food so 3 stars it is .

  Another time at a conference for the year and I remembered eating here and thinking how good it was. Not to mention that it was quite affordable, too. Every day I came here for lunch and it was worth it. I really enjoyed the food here.
  
  On day one, I got a burrito and that filled me up. It was a carne asada burrito. The restaurant has three different sauces: habanero, green, and red. All are pretty tasty! I wanted more of the green sauce. Oh wait. I think there's a fourth: guacamole and a fifth: pico de Gallo lol.
  
  Day two, I came for taco Tuesday. Two chicken. Two beef. They make their own tortillas and four was just right for me. Honestly, I could've had two more but I didn't want to overdue it since I had to venture back to my conference.
  
  Anyway, I would want to come here again but I would avoid using the restroom. Micho's turns into club atomic at night and so I imagine it is a difficult thing to maintain a cleanliness to the place. This was because I ventured down to the restroom. Use the restroom BEFORE you come here. It'll save ya a weird trip. Anyway, I sat at the bar and it seemed clean enough. I'll come back for those tacos on Tuesday, though!
